About us
The evangelical Tabernacle
is an independent, non-denominational church directed by the authority of the
Holy Scriptures through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (
Yeshua Ha-Mashiach).
We are a small congregation of believers called out ones (eklesia) that God has
called out for Himself to be part of His people
(1 Peter 2:9-10) But
you are a
chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people,
that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His
marvellous light; who
once were not
a people but are now
the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.
Which together with others around the world that have been: “called out of
darkness into His marvellous light”; Form the Universal Church of God through
Jesus Christ.
Who will worship Him as in;(John
4:23-24)“
But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the
Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and
truth.”
And tell others about
Him;(Matthew 28:19-20)
“Go
therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of
the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I
am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
And boast only in the sacrifice of Jesus in His death and Resurrection;
(Galations 6:14)
But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ,
by whom] the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world
And to not be ashamed of the gospel
(Romans
1:16)
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for
it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first
and also for the Greek”.
And obey the ordinances of
being baptized and breaking of bread;
(Acts 2:40-42)
And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be
saved from this perverse generation.” Then those who gladly received his word
were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.
And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship,
in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.
And to help one another live
for Him;
(Ephesians 4:11-16)
And
He Himself gave some to be apostles,
some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for
the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the
body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith
and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the
stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer
be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by
the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but,
speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the
head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit
together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by
which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of
itself in love.
True followers of Jesus are adopted
children of God;
(1 John 3:1-3)
Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be
called children of God!
Therefore the world does not know us, because
it did not know Him. Beloved,
now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be,
but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him
as He is. And
everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
And are heirs of God through
Jesus Christ; (Romans 8:17
and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint
heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified
together.
We are brothers and sisters in
the Lord
and
seek communion with others around the globe that form the universal church of
God through Jesus Christ while striving to remain separate from ungodliness,
worldliness and doctrinal heresy.
Our Meetings
are for the Glory of God
through the proclamation of His word through teaching and listening of God’s
word, Singing
hymns to praise, thank and give Him Honour and Glory.
The music is basic to accompany in harmony the
hymns.
Our purpose
is to glorify God, to grow spiritually and be prepared and equipped to be His
faithful servants now and when He calls us to be with Him.
Bible study is an essential part of our
fellowship in order to understand more of God's will for each one of us and to be
better prepared and equipped by its edification to carry out and be doers of His
will.
The Holy Scriptures are the word of God
and reveal His truth, which is where we always seek the truth and not
to men who are fallible. Those who fear him with reverence and pray with a pure
heart in truth and spirit, surrendering to his authority, through Jesus Christ;
He will reveal His wisdom and knowledge in truth for the purpose of His glory
and blessings for His children.
We seek the truth to unveil the truth and
firmly be rooted in it, so any heretical doctrines that can sometimes go
unnoticed will be brought to light and exposed, lest we be deceived.
we strive to please God by studying His word and praying that He
will give us His strength and Wisdom through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit
to be able to put His word into practice in our daily lives.
We are living in the end times, and
our faith will be tested to the limits, we need to be strong and courageous in
the strength of God, ever watchful and waiting for his promise to return that we
may be found in Him when He comes.
